  • Do you travel?
    We are based in Salt Lake City, but will travel to wherever our clients need us, as long as the additional time and expenses are compensated, and it makes sense for the client and Clovedwell. This usually depends on the scope of a project. We also offer a remote/virtual option for our interior design services.

  • Why do I need to hire an interior designer?

  • How do I choose the right interior designer for me?
    The collaboration between you and your interior designer is crucial to ensure your vision is brought to life. You should take into account their style, their experience and expertise, and client reviews.   • What happens at our first consultation?
    First and foremost, we get to know each other! We then discuss your design challenges and what it would look like to work with Clovedwell.
  • Is the first meeting free?
    Yes! All of our first introduction calls/meetings are complimentary. We will walk through your budget and Clovedwell pricing during our first call.
  • How long does the design process take?
    It depends on the scope and what we hope to accomplish! We will break down the project into phases and set up timelines for installs and productions. Each project will have its own parameters that affect the timeline, but we will be sure to create designs efficiently, without comprise. We will communicate if there are any changes to our timelines, to ensure you are always in the loop.
  • How involved will I be in the design process?
    This is entirely up to you and what we discuss during the initial phase of the project. Regardless of what decide, you will receive regular updates from us to keep you informed on the process.
  • Do you have any mark-up costs or fees for interior design services?
    No, we do not have any markup costs. We charge a flat fee for the design, and then an hourly rate for everything after that (revisions, management, install, etc.).
  • What if I don't like the design?
    We will provide a mockup, samples, and other materials to ensure you are happy with the project before we move forward. We provide all of our clients up to two (2) complimentary revisions on these items before we charge additional fees.
  • Why do I need an event planner?
    Who wants to stress over party favors or vendor contracts? Event planners are like magic wands for your special day, taking care of everything from venue hunting, to napkin folding. You get to relax, enjoy the planning process, and have a flawless event!
  • What is it like to work with an event planner?
    Working with an event planner offers a seamless and stress-free experience. They handle every detail, from venue selection and vendor coordination to logistical planning and design execution. Their expertise ensures your event is executed flawlessly, allowing you to relax and enjoy the process. By delegating the intricate details, you gain peace of mind and can focus on what truly matters: your special gathering!
  • How much experience does Clovedwell have in events?
    Our founder and owner has been planning and executing events for over 15 years! We've planned important fundraising dinners, corporate retreats, brand activations, birthday parties, dinner parties, you name it! We pride ourselves on having experience in a wide array of gatherings, making us very in tune with the event space.
  • What types of gatherings do you specialize in?
    Clovedwell specializes in intimate dinner parties, events for 200+, corporate events/retreats, birthday parties, you name it! We have experience planning and executing flawless events and look forward to helping you plan your next gathering.
  • Do you plan weddings?
    Clovedwell takes on weddings on a case-by-case basis, pending availability and as schedules allow. Don't hesitate to reach out, and we can see what's possible.
  • How much time do you need to plan?
    With any great event, plenty of lead time is key. Depending on what type of event you want to throw, there are various timelines to consider. For example, if you are throwing a larger event such as a gala or golf tournament, we would want 9-12 months in advance, but if you are looking at planning a baby shower or dinner party, those can be planned with a 2-3 month lead time.
  • Will you work / negotiate with vendors on my behalf?
    Absolutely! Part of our services for events includes the management of various vendors for your events.
  • Do you have recommended vendors?
    Yes! We have connections for various vendors such as catering, photography/videography, fabrication, and much more. We are more than happy to talk through what services we may be able to accommodate and what services we will need to include in our scope for additional vendors.
  • How do you charge for services?
    We offer flat rates depending on the event size and scope, then for the planning purposes, we charge an hourly rate leading up to event day. We work with all kinds of budgets, and want to accommodate. We will pride ourselves in offering price transparency, and never have any hidden fees.
